Traveling

If there is one thing I learned this year, it's determination pays off! Being an entertainer has made me grow and afforded me opportunities to travel the world. I feel like I have been born under lucky stars because everything is on track. 2012 brings exciting adventures and I just can't wait. I have an amazing team and a brand that is growing. I'm looking for the right people in my life and i have been lucky enough to attract them!

Headlining at the Hard Rock!

Performing at the Hard Rock hotel in Tampa Florida was a blast! We Had a packed house! It's always a great show when fans come from all over to Support my magic. I sold out on all of my new t-shirts so I'll have to place another order with the printer.

Love and death

The past few weeks have been a whirlwind! I went to a charity event at the Beverly Hills Hotel with Russel Brand as the celebrity performer. After that I went on a tv show which took place on a cruise ship! We went through the bahamas and stopped in Jamaica. It was a dating tv show on lifetime which should air during the next few months. As I arrived in Mami I got an urgent message from my sister saying that she was in new York with my grandma because she was not doing well. Instead of flying to la I took the next plane to nyc. I got to my grandmas House Just before she passed away. I am very grateful for being able to see my grandmother one last time. I leave you with a though of care. Cherish your loved ones like you won't see them tomorrow and know that they will be with you always.

Mandalay Bay- Last Night at House of Blues-Success!

Hey Friends!

Hope everyone is well and happy! Just letting you all know that the show last night at House of Blues, located in Mandalay Bay Hotel couldn't have been a greater success! The crowd loved us, and can't wait to see our show again.  Jackie and Emily, my sexy assistants helped me perform some of my most alluring tricks.  Couldn't have been a better opportunity to get everyone ready for all of our upcoming Halloween celebrations and shows!

Hello Everyone!

Rehearsal today went great for our shows at the Flamingo starting tomorrow! My assistants Jackie and Chelsea came over to rehearse and iron out all of the wrinkles, and we're ready to go!  Can't wait to see you all there...there will be tricks, treats, and magic galore.  Come see me light up the stage!  Be prepared to see a doll come to life, things disappear before your eyes and other incredible illusions that will tantalize, mesmerize, and leave you wanting more!

The show we did for St. Rose hospital went great! All my dancers did a great job and I was very happy with the show. After the show I emceed and guests took pictures with me. My dancers took a plane back instead of driving. Luckily i have a good friend named Emily that is driving with me to Vegas. Today I gave a motivational speech for the Rotary club, it was so great to see people giving back to the community. So I'm here hanging out in San Francisco with a good friend. tonight we are going to Fishermans Wharf for some seafood, I'm excited! tomorrow I will be driving back and getting ready to perform in Nathan Burtons comedy magic show this weekend at the Flamingo Casino. What color Vlado shoes should I wear?

Communication

I feel communication is the key to every successful relationship. If you can successfully get your point across and understand what another person is telling you can be a more effective achiever.  When working with others I have realized that listening is important however in the end I need to make up my own mind!  I have listened to many consultants, mentors, and people who think they know what is best for me, but in the end it important for me to make up my own mind and stick to what I think is correct. I am off to climb my silks and work on getting ready for the big show in San Fransisco! Check out this great video of me and the talented Sh-boss Boys during Americas Got Talent!

The Journey Continues... My New Logo!

Who do you value and why?  As you build your business it’s important to grow and the only way to grow is if you build a team who can support your goals and brand.  I have been lucky to work with many people who have been great! I have had mentors that teach me and people who I look up to that have taken the time to give me insight in to the entertainment business.  I get letters sometimes that I inspire others and it really feels great to have that feedback.  I feel it’s important to understand your brand and really know who you are trying to reach. Staying consistent is hard but needs to be done.  I am still growing as a performer/entrepreneur and am constantly making my brand more consistent.  To the right is my new logo, I have had over 75 different possible logos and finally went with this one.  If I leave you with one thought today it is growing and learning will never stop so embrace the journey.

Hard work

When you want something so bad what will you do to get it? When you see something you want do you work hard to get it or do you say to yourself "I’m not good at that, I can't do it!" In case you didn't know the second option should not be an option at all!  If you believe in yourself others will believe in you.  Today I was taught a valuable lesson by my dancers Missy, Jackie, and Teri. They reminded me that I can do anything if I put my mind to it.  I am not a dancer by background, I have never had any formal training but with a little work and some sweat, I will learn choreography!   We are gearing up for a big show in San Francisco and all of us are very excited!  We have been rehearsing at Shane O’Neal’s Photography Studio in Las Vegas.  Check him out at http://www.shaneonealphotography.com. The good life

A daily dose of creativity and letting go of responsibilities is important for everyone.  Sometimes it feels as though I go through life at a very fast pace, not stopping to enjoy the moment. Today I consciously choose to be productive by being unproductive. I rehearsed my illusion show and stayed in the studio to meet some new friends.  Instead of working on my music for the show I chose to be social and relax.  By taking the time to socialize and be friendly I gained a new friend that will be around for a long time.  On my way home I feat as thought I was behind in my work, however instead about feeling bad about it I was happy.  In short take the time you need to enjoy the small things in life like making new friends. 

Bulldog Persistence

Who wants to be a happy successful person?   I would have to believe everyone wants to be living a more fulfilled life and be successful.  I have experience a lot of small successes in my life that are slowly compiling and adding up to the big one.  What is the big one?  Do we know what our final goal is?  These questions are meant to make you think.  Being motivated and staying focused on your task is very important in order to accomplishing your goals.  When I create a new magic illusion I come up with the concept and focus on it until I am satisfied with the outcome.  I have been working on some of my tricks for 5-10 years and I'm still not completely satisfied, but I am willing to show them to you because I feel they are strong enough to be seen. I truly believe when working on something repetition it the key to success!  If you do something for the first time you are always hesitant and nervous.  If you have been doing the same thing for 10 years 5 days a week you should be a pro!  I hope to motivate, entertain, and inspire!  My success is driven by bulldog persistence, and realizing that no means, maybe and yes means right now!     

I need PR

There is so much behind entertainment, more than just being a great performer.  After finishing AGT I thought to myself what's next.  I quickly realized that I have act on the huge amount of publicity I got, and had to capitalize on it now!  I initially drove to Vegas and almost immediately, I was headlining at the Orleans Casino.  I put in few calls to the local TV stations and I got to be a guest on the more show channel 5 as well as the NBC affiliate.  The next step for me is building my team.  I'm looking for a solid publicist who believes in me and wants to take me to the next level of my career.  If you know of anyone who knows PR, let me know!  After talking to a good friend tonight over dinner, I am taking a proactive role with my social media.  It is my pleasure to stay in touch with all of you and I want you to feel you can reach out to me any time.  If you have questions, ideas, or just want to say hello, I am accessible.  After headlining at the Orleans Casino I felt great about being a performer. So many fans came out to support me and see my show.  I was in the Beverly Hills Courier today and it was so exciting to see the picture!

love life

Today was great! I started the day off as usual; I worked out and ate breakfast.  I turned on my computer and stated answering E-mails.  I did office work for about five hours.  I went to dinner with some friends. After dinner I went to my Prop Shop and learned how to weld properly!  I have been up on facebook ever since because I am addicted to it!  I posted lots of new videos and pictures on NBC.com so please check them out and comment.  I read all the comments and try to get back to you asap.
